Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol are set to clash next month in a much-anticipated bout to determine the undisputed light-heavyweight champion of the world.
This highly awaited match between two of boxing’s elite fighters has garnered immense excitement, especially after several delays in its scheduling.
Originally scheduled to fight in June, their bout was postponed due to Beterbiev suffering a ruptured meniscus.
In the interim, Bivol (22-0, 11 KOs) successfully defended his WBA light-heavyweight titles by defeating Malik Zinad in the sixth round.
He is now preparing to return to Saudi Arabia for this undisputed matchup against Beterbiev, who holds the IBF, WBC, and WBO titles.
Beterbiev, with a record of 20-0 (20 KOs), last competed in January, where he knocked out Callum Smith after also defeating fellow Brit Anthony Yarde last year.
The marquee event will be accompanied by an impressive card featuring Chris Eubank Jr’s return and Shakur Stevenson taking on Joe Cordina.
