‘Britain’s sexiest footballer’ shown a red card after becoming the center of attention in a game.

The international break can frustrate anyone, but it’s particularly true for a non-league player caught in a game of piggy in the middle.

The Folkestone Invicta striker, who earned the title of Britain’s sexiest footballer in 2018, tarnished his previously spotless reputation by lashing out late in the match against Billericay Town, which ended in a 3-0 defeat.

With his team two goals down and hopes of a comeback hanging by a thread, Derry’s frustration finally reached its breaking point.

The game was paused in the 75th minute to allow a Billericay player to receive treatment.

Eager to resume play, Derry approached the Billericay goalkeeper, but his attempts to speed things up were met with an unexpected response as goalkeeper Sam Donkin performed kick-ups instead.

Things took a turn for the worse for Folkestone when Ibrahim Jalloh capitalized on a defensive blunder to score a third goal late in the game.

Billericay were already in control after a second-half brace from Ashley Nzala, propelling them to third place in the league after six matches.

Derry, on the other hand, will be left anxiously pondering a potential three-match ban for violent conduct.
