Hulk Hogan has boldly asserted that he could transform Logan Paul into one of wrestling’s all-time great heroes, but the WWE star is not on board with the idea.
Throughout most of his WWE career, Paul has portrayed a heel, a term used in wrestling for a villainous character. His brief stint as a fan favorite didn’t resonate, as audiences quickly rejected the idea.
As a result, he’s embraced his role as one of WWE’s best modern heels, combining a confident, brash persona with undeniable talent in the ring.
During Hogan’s visit to Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, things took a comical turn as the Hall of Famer laid out his plan for Paul to become a beloved babyface—a hero adored by fans.
In classic Hogan style, the 71-year-old envisioned a scenario where he would take a beating from WWE villains, allowing Paul to come in and save him, thus earning the ‘red and yellow rub’—a nod to Hulk’s iconic persona.
Hogan even made a startling reference to the disgraced wrestler Chris Benoit, stating, “Wrestling fans are very forgiving. If Chris Benoit can do what he did and still have fans, they can forgive you too.”
He continued to elaborate on his idea, suggesting that if Paul were to intervene during a beatdown, “it doesn’t matter where he’s been, or what he’s done—it’s all about getting that right moment.”
“I look forward to seeing you transition into a babyface—it’s going to be amazing,” he remarked.
After chuckling at Hogan’s suggestions and allowing the wrestling icon to express his ideas, Paul made his stance clear: “Oh no, I’m not interested in that at all.”
“Being a heel is f****** awesome,” he added.
Although Paul hasn’t been seen in WWE since losing his United States title to LA Knight at SummerSlam, he has expressed aspirations to increase his involvement in wrestling, aiming for a significant 2025.
