Recently, Sinner was found to have a banned steroid in his system. However, he was cleared of intentional consumption, allowing him to avoid a significant suspension.

Now, he is focused on claiming his second Grand Slam title of the year.

Draper, however, believes he has what it takes to beat Sinner.

The 22-year-old has not dropped a set during the tournament and recently defeated Alex de Minaur 6-3, 7-5, 6-2 in the quarter-finals.

He now has a genuine chance to become the first British male to win the US Open since Sir Andy Murray.

The US Open semi-final is scheduled for Friday, September 6.

The match will take place at Arthur Ashe Stadium at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, New York.
