Jake Paul criticizes the NFL with a strong message before the conclusion of the first quarter in the Philadelphia Eagles vs. Green Bay Packers game.

Succeeding in the NFL is one of the most challenging accomplishments for any athlete.

However, Jake Paul seems to hold a different opinion after catching just the first quarter of the Philadelphia Eagles versus the Green Bay Packers.

The matchup marked the start of a new season for both teams in Brazil – the NFL’s inaugural visit to the country.

In a social media post, Paul remarked, “This game illustrates why transitioning to the NFL will be easy for me. There’s so much mediocrity, unprofessionalism, and a noticeable lack of intelligence on display.”

Currently, the YouTuber-turned-boxer is dedicating his efforts to the boxing ring.

He has a match lined up against Mike Tyson in November at AT&T Stadium in Texas, aiming to improve his 10-1 record. His only professional loss to date was a split decision against Tommy Fury.

This isn’t the first time Paul has expressed interest in pursuing a career in the NFL; he previously shared his aspirations with his brother, Logan Paul, back in 2022.

On the Impaulsive podcast, Jake stated, “I genuinely want to go to the NFL after this. I’m serious about playing safety and tackling people. I promise.”

“I’m about to increase the viewership for whatever team I join.”

When questioned about which team he would like to join, the Ohio native replied, “The Browns! Can you imagine me playing for the Cleveland Browns? That would be wild.”

“I can run a 4.3 in the 40-yard dash. I have the right combination of size, speed, and strength, so why not play as a free safety?”

A number of former NFL players have ventured into boxing after retirement, with former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell being the most recent.

In response to a question about whether his transition to boxing is similar to Jake’s potential move to the NFL, he said, “No, because I have played football my entire life.”
