Sunday’s Nations League matches featured an action-packed evening for Premier League players.

Here’s a recap of how each player performed.

Croatia

Mateo Kovacic – The Manchester City midfielder played 79 minutes and received a yellow card as Croatia secured a 1-0 victory over Poland, with Luka Modric netting the decisive goal.

Poland

Jan Bednarek – The Southampton defender completed the full 90 minutes and was also booked in Poland’s loss to Croatia.

Jakub Moder – Brighton’s Moder entered the match as a substitute in the 62nd minute, replacing Kacper Urbanski.

Jakub Kiwior – The Arsenal defender remained unused on the bench throughout the game.

Portugal

Ruben Dias – The Manchester City centre-back played the entire match, helping Portugal overcome Scotland 2-1 in Lisbon.

John McGinn – McGinn played on the left for Scotland before being replaced by Ben Doak.

Denmark

David Raya – Arsenal’s first-choice goalkeeper made a rare start but will be disappointed to have conceded.

Sweden

Yasin Ayari – The Brighton midfielder contributed to Sweden’s 3-0 win over Estonia before being substituted in the 63rd minute.

Dejan Kulusevski – The Tottenham star played the entire match in an advanced midfield role.

Alexander Isak – The Newcastle forward found the net against Estonia, continuing his successful partnership with Viktor Gyokeres.

Northern Ireland
